CompTIA Network+ Bootcamp

Individuals gain vendor-neutral network management expertise, which is beneficial for roles like network administrator and systems administrator. For businesses, certified employees ensure robust and secure network operations.

Program Overview

The CompTIA Network+ program covers networking concepts, implementations, operations, security, and troubleshooting.

What you will study

Through interactive, coach-led sessions, hands-on labs, using real world scenarios, you will gain networking concepts, implementations, operations, security, and troubleshooting knowledge and skills. Additionally, you will receive mentor sessions to support your progress. At the end of the bootcamp, you will be given the opportunity to sit the exam for CompTIA N+.

Teaching and Assessment

During the bootcamp, weekly Labs and practice questions will be conducted, assessing attendance and knowledge as each subject is covered.

You will sit the CompTIA N+ exam, allowing you to obtain your Network+ certification upon completion of the bootcamp.  

Delivery Schedule

The CompTIA Network+ program will start in October 2024, with classes held for 3 hours each week over a span of 16 weeks. In addition, mentor sessions will be provided as drop-in sessions for additional support. There will be a two-week break for the festive holidays.

Enrollment is limited and spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Who’s it for?

This bootcamp is recommend for individuals with a technology / IT background, seeking essential networking skills, including network installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and security.

Eligibility criteria

  • Continuous residence in Wales for the past 3 years
  • 19 years or older
  • Employed or self-employed
  • No prior study of the course content
  • A worker on a zero-hour contract, agency staff, or at the risk of being made redundant.
  • A technology background is recommended, candidates must be passionate about a career in tech in order to maximise the opportunity

If you are not eligible, this service can be provided in exchange of a tuition fee.
