CompTIA Security+ Bootcamp
Program Overview
The CompTIA Security+ program covers General Security Concepts, Threats, Vulnerabilities & Mitigations, Security Architecture, Security Operations, Security Program Management & Oversight. Individuals gain vendor-neutral security management expertise, which is beneficial for roles like Pen Testers, Network Security Engineers, Security Analysts, Security Architects.
For businesses, certified employees ensure robust and secure infrastructure operations.
What you will study
Through interactive, coach-led sessions, hands-on labs, using real world scenarios, you will develop skills in general security concepts, threats, vunerabilities & mitigations, security architecture, operations and program management & oversight.
At the end of the bootcamp, you will be given the opportunity to sit the exam for CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701).

Teaching and Assessment
The new CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) represents the latest and greatest in cybersecurity, covering the most in-demand skills related to current threats, automation, zero trust, IoT, risk – and more.
During the bootcamp, weekly Labs and practice questions will be conducted, assessing your attendance and knowledge as each subject is covered.
Delivery Schedule
The CompTIA Security+ program runs every 4 months, with classes held for 3 hours each week over a span of 16 weeks. For example, every Tuesday & Thursday between 3:30pm – 5:00pm.
In addition, weekly 1:1 mentor sessions will be provided, and drop-in sessions for additional support.
Enrollment is limited and spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reach out for dates and availability.
Who’s it for?
This bootcamp is recommend for individuals with a technology / IT background, seeking skills in the latest and greatest in cybersecurity, covering the most in-demand skills related to current threats, automation, zero trust, IoT, risk – and more.Eligibility criteria
- Reside in Wales
- 19 years or older
- Employed or self-employed
- A worker on a zero-hour contract, agency staff, or at the risk of being made redundant.
- A technology background is recommended, candidates must be passionate about a career in tech in order to maximise the opportunity
