You will be paid whilst completing Job Growth Wales+. You will also receive support from your employer to develop your skills and knowledge in a specific job role.

Job Growth Wales+ will help you move into paid work, prepare you for an apprenticeship or further academic studies.

Job Growth Wales+ engagement:

Choose Engagement if:

  • You are unsure on which area of IT you would like to go in to.
  • You need some support to help get into employment or further learning.

Time Commitment and Pay:

  • You will attend ITeC Digital Training for 3.5 days a week.
  • You will earn £42 a week for full attendance.
  • All travel reimbursed.
  • £3.90 per day food allowance for every day that you attend.

What you will take part on during the Engagement Programme:

  • Work on your IT skills and have a little taster into the different areas of IT.
  • Develop employability skills including: personal skills (attendance/time-keeping, teamwork, confidence).
  • Opportunity to work towards a qualification in Employability and Personal Development.
  • Work experience and placements.

Job Growth Wales+ advancement:

Choose Advancement if:

  • You have a strong idea of what area of IT you would like to work in.
  • Ready to start working towards achieving you goals.

Time Commitment and Pay:

  • You will attend the course (here, at a workplace, or a combination of the two) five days a week.
  • You will earn £60 a week for full time attendance.
  • All travel reimbursed.
  • £3.90 per day food allowance for everyday that you attend.

What you will take part on during the Advancement Programme:

  • Qualifications you could gain: IT User , Python, C#, Java, or if you have a work placement, IT Practitioner.
  • Work experience and placements.
